Tracking Down the Wild Men
Synopsis | Information
From the outer reaches of Pakistan and Afghanistan, we hear of eyewitness reports of sightings of Wild Men – a human species, close to our own, the last specimens of which have reportedly taken refuge in the remote Hindu Kush mountains.
Jòrdi Magraner, a young zoologist at Paris’s National Museum of Natural History, is devoting his life to the search for these Barmanus.
His is a scientific investigation, carried on in the magnificent setting of the lower slopes of the Himalayas. But tracking down the witnesses, collecting their testimony, and constructing a composite picture of the Wild Men takes him on an arduous journey.
A scientific and human adventure that takes us to the core of research into the evolution of our species.
